Ingredients

  • 100 gram White Chocolate
  • ½ cup / 118 ml Heavy Cream
  • ½ cup / 120 g Cream Cheese
  • 1 tbsp / 8 g Powdered Sugar
  • ½ tsp / 3 ml Pure Vanilla Essence

Instructions

Melt The White Chocolate

  • Boil water in a saucepan (large enough to fit the mixing bowl), place the mixing bowl on top of the saucepan, and add ½ cup of white chocolate to it. (break into small pieces)
  • Stir the chocolate occasionally until it’s fully melted.
  • Alternatively, you can microwave the white chocolate in 30-second increments. Stir between each session, microwaving at half power until fully melted.
  • Set aside to cool slightly.

Prepare The Cream Cheese Mixture

  • Grab another medium mixing bowl and add 1/2 cup of cream cheese and 1 tbsp of powdered sugar to it.
  • Beat the cream cheese with a hand or stand mixer until smooth and creamy.

Mix The Cream Cheese and Chocolate

  • Now add 1/2 tsp of vanilla essence, and pour the white chocolate into the cream cheese mixture.
  • And beat again at a low speed until it’s smooth and well combined.

Whip The Heavy Cream

  • In another mixing bowl, pour 1/2 cup of heavy cream.
  • Beat the heavy cream until soft peaks form. Do not overwhip, as it may turn grainy. Set the cream aside for later use.

Combine Heavy Cream and Chocolate Mixture

  • Now, take some cream and mix it with the chocolate mixture. Then pour the chocolate mixture into the heavy cream.
  • Now mix them at the lowest speed, or you can use a spatula to fold them until the mousse is well combined.

Chill, Serve, and Enjoy

  • Taste the mousse to see if it needs more sweetness. Add 1 or 2 tbsp of powdered sugar if needed.
  • Divide the mousse into serving cups using a spoon or piping bag and refrigerate for 1- 2 hours.
  • Garnish the white chocolate mousse with more whipped cream or fresh berries, and enjoy your creamy delight!
