Ingredients

  • 2 large Chicken Breasts
  • 2 tbsp / 30 ml Olive Oil
  • 2 tbsp / 30 ml Lemon Juice
  • 3 cloves / 3 cloves Garlic Minced
  • ¼ tsp / 1.42 g Salt
  • ½ tsp / 3 g Black Pepper
  • ½ tsp / 3 g Red Chili Powder
  • ½ tsp / 3 g Chili Flakes
  • ½ tsp / 3 g Oregano
  • ½ tsp / 3 g Cumin Powder
  • ½ tsp / 3 g Paprika Powder Smoked
  • Coriander Leaves For Garnishing

Instructions

Prepare The Chicken

  • Place 2 large chicken breasts on a sheet of parchment paper on a chopping board. Then, cover them with another sheet of parchment paper.
  • Use a meat mallet or a rolling pin to gently pound the chicken breasts until they are about ½-inch thick. Set the chicken aside for later use.

Make The Marinade

  • In a mixing bowl, pour 2 tbsp of olive oil and 2 tbsp of lemon juice.
  • Stir in 3 cloves of minced garlic to add flavor to the marinade.
  • Sprinkle ¼ tsp of salt and ½ tsp of black pepper over the mix.
  • Add ½ tsp of red chili powder and ½ tsp of chili flakes to add spiciness.
  • Season the marinade with ½ tsp of oregano, ½ tsp of cumin powder and ½ tsp of smoked paprika powder.
  • Use a whisk to thoroughly mix all the ingredients until well combined.

Dip Chicken Into The Marinade

  • Using tongs, dip each chicken breast into the marinade, making sure they are evenly coated with the spices.
  • Let the chicken marinade for 30 minutes.

Grill The Chicken

  • Preheat a griddle pan over high heat and spray the pan with a little oil to prevent sticking.
  • Place the marinated chicken breasts in the pan using tongs.
  • Cook the chicken for 5-6 minutes on each side and then flip to the other side once done. Press the chicken gently with the tongs to ensure even cooking.

Garnish, Serve and Enjoy!

  • Remove the chicken pieces from the pan when they are completely cooked and transfer them to the serving plate.
  • Garnish the chicken with coriander leaves and serve the spicy grilled chicken over veggies, salad, or rice!
