- 1 tbsp / 14 g Butter
- 1.5 cups / 459 g Condensed Milk
- 3 cups / 255 g Desiccated Coconut Plus Extra For Rolling
- Sprinkles Optional
Prepare The Coconut Mixture
Place a pan on the stove over medium-low heat.
Add 1 tbsp of butter to the pan and let it melt.
Pour 1.5 cups of condensed milk into the pan,
Stir the mixture with a spatula until the butter and the condensed milk are well combined.
Add The Shredded Coconut
Add 3 cups of desiccated coconut to the condensed milk mixture.
Stir continuously so that the coconut soaks up the milk and firms up slightly.
Remove the coconut mixture from the heat and transfer it to a plate.
Shape and Coat The Coconut Balls
Take a small portion of the coconut mixture and roll it to form a ball. Use your hands to pat the ball and give it a smooth texture.
Place some extra desiccated coconut on a plate.
Roll the formed ball in the desiccated coconut until it’s fully coated.
Alternatively, you can roll the coconut ball in sprinkles for added color and texture.
