Ingredients

For Chicken Marination

  • 1 large Chicken Breast Cubed
  • ½ tsp / 3 g Salt
  • ½ tsp / 1 g Black Pepper
  • 1 tbsp / 8 g Garlic Minced
  • ½ tsp / 1 g Red Chili Powder
  • ½ tsp / 1 g Cumin Powder
  • ½ tsp / 1 g Chili Flakes
  • ½ tsp / 1 g Oregano
  • 2 tbsp / 30 ml Lemon Juice

For Sauce

  • 1 cup / 200 g Greek Yogurt
  • cup / 150 g Mayonnaise
  • 1 tsp / 5 g Dijon Mustard
  • 2 tbsp / 30 ml Lemon Juice
  • ½ tsp / 3 g Salt
  • ½ tsp / 1 g Black Pepper
  • 1 tsp / 4 g Sugar
  • 1 tsp / 3 g Garlic Granules
  • ½ tsp / 3 g Paprika Powder
  • ½ tsp / 1 g Red Chili Powder
  • ½ tsp / ½ tsp Dried Parsley
  • ½ tsp / 1 g Oregano

For Cooking

  • 3 tbsp / 45 ml Cooking Oil (2+1)
  • Large Tortilla
  • Red Onion Sliced
  • Lettuce Chopped
  • Tomatoes Chopped
  • Cucumber Thinly Sliced

Instructions

Marinate The Chicken

  • Grab a large mixing bowl and place a large-sized chicken breast cut into cubes.
  • Sprinkle ½ tsp of salt and ½ tsp of black pepper over the chicken.
  • Add 1 tbsp of minced garlic and ½ tsp red chili powder to the bowl.
  • Mix in ½ tsp of cumin powder and ½ tsp of chili flakes.
  • Add ½ tsp of oregano and 2 tbsp of lemon juice to the spices.
  • Use a spoon to mix the chicken with the spices and rest for 15 minutes.

Prepare The Sauce

  • In a small mixing bowl, add 1 cup of Greek yogurt and ⅔ cup of mayonnaise.
  • Stir in 1 tsp of Dijon mustard and 2 tbsp of lemon juice into the bowl.
  • Season with ½ tsp of salt and ½ tsp of black pepper.
  • Mix in 1 tsp of sugar and 1 tsp of garlic granules.
  • Add ½ tsp of paprika powder and ½ tsp of red chili powder to the bowl.
  • Finish with ½ tsp of dried parsley and ½ tsp of oregano.
  • Whisk all the ingredients together until smooth and set the sauce aside for later use.

Fry The Chicken

  • Place a frying pan on the stove over medium-high heat.
  • Pour 2 tbsp of cooking oil into the pan.
  • Add the marinated chicken to the hot oil.
  • Cook the chicken for 6-8 minutes while stirring occasionally to prevent burning.
  • Once the chicken pieces are fried and turn golden brown, transfer them to a plate.

Assemble The Chicken Wrap

  • Take a large-sized tortilla and place it on a flat surface.
  • Spread a generous amount of the sauce you prepared earlier evenly over the tortilla with a spoon.
  • Place a couple of fried chicken pieces over the sauce using tongs.
  • Lay sliced red onion over the chicken pieces.
  • Top the onions with chopped lettuce, chopped tomatoes and thinly sliced cucumbers.

Fold and Fry The Wrap

  • Fold the tortilla by tucking it in from all four sides and wrap it tightly.
  • Place the pan on the stove over medium heat and pour 1 tbsp of oil into it, spreading the oil evenly with a brush.
  • Put the chicken wrap on the pan and cook it for a minute on both sides. Use tongs to flip the wrap frequently.
  • Slice the delicious chicken wrap in half and enjoy!
