Equipment

Ingredients

  • 18 Oreo Cookies
  • ½ cup / 115 g Cream Cheese Room Temperature
  • 1.5 cups / 200 g White Chocolate
  • 1.5 cups / 200 g Chocolate optional

Instructions

Crush Oreos and Add Cream Cheese

  • Place 18 Oreo cookies in a food processor and blend until they turn into fine crumbs.
  • Reserve 1 tbsp of crumbs for garnish and pour the remaining crumbs into a mixing bowl.
  • Add ½ cup of cream cheese at room temperature to the Oreo crumbs.
  • Using a spatula, mix the cookie crumbs with the cream cheese until the mixture comes together into a sticky dough ball.

Shape The Cookies and Refrigerate

  • Prepare a large baking tray by lining it with parchment paper.
  • Using a cookie scoop, take one portion of the mixture and roll it between your palms to form a small, smooth Oreo ball.
  • Repeat with the remaining mixture to prepare additional Oreo balls and place them on the baking tray.
  • Refrigerate the Oreo balls for about 30 minutes.

Melt Chocolate

  • Break a white chocolate bar into small pieces and place 1.5 cups of it in a small mixing bowl.
  • Melt the chocolate by microwaving it in 30-second increments. Stir after each interval until the chocolate completely melts. Use lower wattage in the microwave to avoid burning.
  • After microwaving, give the melted chocolate a gentle stir until it becomes smooth.

Coat The Oreo Cookies

  • Place 2 bowls, one with melted white chocolate and the other with Oreo crumbs for garnishing.
  • Dip each cookie into the melted chocolate, using a fork to coat all sides evenly.
  • Lift the cookies with a fork and place them one by one on the baking tray.
  • Sprinkle Oreo crumbs on top of the coated cookies as garnish.
  • Alternatively, you can also coat the cookies with melted dark/milk chocolate instead of white chocolate.

Chill, Serve, and Enjoy!

  • Once all the cookies are coated and garnished, place the baking tray in the refrigerator for 10 minutes.
  • After chilling, remove the cookies and enjoy a bite of the delicious Oreo balls!
