- 18 Oreo Cookies
- ½ cup / 115 g Cream Cheese Room Temperature
- 1.5 cups / 200 g White Chocolate
- 1.5 cups / 200 g Chocolate optional
Crush Oreos and Add Cream Cheese
Place 18 Oreo cookies in a food processor and blend until they turn into fine crumbs.
Reserve 1 tbsp of crumbs for garnish and pour the remaining crumbs into a mixing bowl.
Add ½ cup of cream cheese at room temperature to the Oreo crumbs.
Using a spatula, mix the cookie crumbs with the cream cheese until the mixture comes together into a sticky dough ball.
Shape The Cookies and Refrigerate
Prepare a large baking tray by lining it with parchment paper.
Using a cookie scoop, take one portion of the mixture and roll it between your palms to form a small, smooth Oreo ball.
Repeat with the remaining mixture to prepare additional Oreo balls and place them on the baking tray.
Refrigerate the Oreo balls for about 30 minutes.
Melt Chocolate
Break a white chocolate bar into small pieces and place 1.5 cups of it in a small mixing bowl.
Melt the chocolate by microwaving it in 30-second increments. Stir after each interval until the chocolate completely melts. Use lower wattage in the microwave to avoid burning.
After microwaving, give the melted chocolate a gentle stir until it becomes smooth.
Coat The Oreo Cookies
Place 2 bowls, one with melted white chocolate and the other with Oreo crumbs for garnishing.
Dip each cookie into the melted chocolate, using a fork to coat all sides evenly.
Lift the cookies with a fork and place them one by one on the baking tray.
Sprinkle Oreo crumbs on top of the coated cookies as garnish.
Alternatively, you can also coat the cookies with melted dark/milk chocolate instead of white chocolate.
Chill, Serve, and Enjoy!
Once all the cookies are coated and garnished, place the baking tray in the refrigerator for 10 minutes.
After chilling, remove the cookies and enjoy a bite of the delicious Oreo balls!
