I love Mangos, serve them to me in any form or shape and you shall have the plate wiped off in minutes. My love for mangoes led me to craft this amazing recipe that I will be sharing with you today. It is my favorite, Mango Salad Recipe. This recipe holds a special place in my heart as it reminds me of the days spent at my grandparents’ place, we would collect the mangoes from the mango tree on the porch, wash them, and watch grandma make, delightful dishes with them, it was one of a kind experience.

This amazing Mango Salad Recipe is easy to make, and full of refreshing flavors. In summer, the best way to beat the heat is to enjoy the fresh mango salad

Ingredients

  • 1 large size Mango
  • 1 medium size Avocado
  • 10-12 Cherry Tomatoes
  • ½ Red Onion
  • 2 Green Chillies
  • 2 tbsp chopped Coriander
  • 1 tbsp / 15 ml Lemon Juice
  • 1 tbsp / 15 ml Olive Oil
  • ¼ tsp / 2 g Salt
  • 1 tsp / 4 g Brown Sugar
  • 1 tbsp / 10 g Chopped Peanuts

Instructions

  • To make this delicious and health-packed fresh Mango Salad, start by peeling and cutting a large mango into cubes. Transfer these into a large mixing bowl and move on to the next ingredient.
  • Slice a medium-sized Avocado into two halves and then further slice them into smaller pieces. Transfer to the bowl.
  • Cut 10-12 cherry tomatoes into halves and add them to the salad bowl. Take half an onion and thinly slice it into juliennes. Transfer to the bowl.
  • Finely chop two green chilies and some fresh coriander. Add them to the mixing bowl as well.
  • Add a dash of lemon on top of the ingredients in the bowl along with olive oil, salt, and brown sugar. Give everything a good mix.
  • Toss the salad, until everything is well combined. Top with some chopped peanuts for an added crunch.
  • Enjoy this refreshing bowl of salad alongside your meals or alone, you are going to love it.
