Key Ingredients to Make Mango Salad Recipe
Mango Salad is a refreshing meal recipe full of flavor and taste. To make this amazing salad you will need some key fresh ingredients.
Mango
It’s the show-stopper of this summer salad. There is no specific type of mango for this easy mango salad recipe, any variety will work well.
Avocado
You can use nice and ripe avocados whose texture is firm, they will be soft and creamy to the salad.
Red Onion
To make this salad I use red onion, it pairs well with mango. If you can use a sweet red onion, you’ll be happy with the taste, but you can also use green onions or shallots that are available to you.
Coriander
It makes the salad fragrant and it pairs beautifully with mangoes and avocados. If you don’t like the taste of coriander, substitute flat-leaf parsley, fresh basil, or a bit of fresh mint is a nice substitute.
Olive Oil
For this salad, I use olive oil which is full of phytonutrients and healthy fatty acids. You can substitute it with avocado oil.
Lemon Juice
For the best flavor use freshly squeezed lemon or lime juice whatever is available in your hand. It makes the mango salad zingy and bright.
Chopped Peanuts
I use some peanuts to give a crunchy flavor to the salad, if you don’t like it you can substitute them with cashew nut or any other nuts you like.
