Tips For Making Cheese Paratha Recipe
Ready to grab your favorite pan and take those parathas out of the freezer? Let’s take a moment first to learn some essential tricks!
Here are some tips to make your egg paratha perfectly cheesy and delicious:
- To make sure the parathas get cooked properly, you need to thaw them in the refrigerator overnight. If you forget to thaw beforehand, take the parathas out of the freezer and place them on a plate at room temperature for 10-15 minutes before preparing them for cooking.
If you are short on time, you can microwave the parathas for 1-2 minutes using the defrost option in the oven. To prevent them from drying out, cover the parathas with a slightly damp paper towel.
- Oil with a high smoking point such as vegetable oil is preferred for this recipe to prevent the parathas from burning. Alternatively, you can use ghee to achieve a perfectly crispy paratha with a rich and mouthwatering aroma.
- Place one paratha on the skillet at a time. Overcrowding the pan may prevent the parathas from getting crisped up properly. If you are using a thicker paratha, you may need to adjust the cooking time accordingly. Make sure the heat is medium to medium-low to ensure that parathas get cooked without burning.
- If you are cooking a large batch of cheesy egg parathas, consider using a hot pot lined with a paper towel to keep the parathas warm. The paper towel will absorb any excess moisture and keep the parathas soft. Alternatively, you can use aluminum foil to wrap the parathas separately and keep them warm before serving.
- After cooking, remove the parathas from the heat and allow the cheesy egg paratha to rest for 2 minutes on a wire rack. This helps the excess moisture to evaporate and get the parathas all crisped up nicely.
