Holidays are the times when I get the chance to experiment, try new things, share delicious treats, or discard the recipe if it doesn’t work out! One such holiday discovery of mine is Biscoff Tiramisu– a dessert that combines the warm, spiced flavor of biscoff cookies with a creamy mascarpone filling. It’s your favorite tiramisu but with a cinnamon-spiced twist!
So, what made me switch to this spiced biscoff version instead of the classic tiramisu?
Well, it was the sweet caramelized bites of the Biscoff cookies that won me over! The delicious crunch of those biscuits combined with the creamy mascarpone cheese filling just created something way better than your average tiramisu recipe.
The mix of crispy, creamy, and just the right amount of spice—ah, that’s the kind of vibe I am always looking for in the kitchen. That’s when I knew it was not just another twist on the classics; I have actually found my new favorite dessert for the holidays!

What Is Biscoff
Biscoff is a cookie made by the Belgian Company Lotus Bakeries. These cookies are crispy with a hint of caramel and spice flavor by cinnamon. Biscoff cookies are made to be served with coffee, and the name Biscoff is made with “biscuits” and “coffee.” It is famous as an “airplane cookie” because Delta Airlines began to serve it with their coffee and beverages.
Biscoff is also referred to as Biscoff spread, also known as cookie butter. Biscoff spread is similar to any other spread like Nutella and peanut butter; it is made with the same ingredients as cookies. It is used as a spread, filling, or topping for cheesecakes, tiramisu filling, toast, milkshakes, etc.
Serving and Presentation Ideas For Biscoff Tiramisu
A little effort into the presentation goes a long way to make your biscoff tiramisu look just as irresistible as it tastes! Here are some of my favorite serving and presentation ideas for biscoff tiramisu:
Trifle Bowl
Don’t have a lot of time for decorating? Serve your tiramisu in a transparent trifle bowl to let the dessert show off its beautiful layers!
Dessert Glass Or Cups
For parties or special occasions, individual dessert cups, ramekins, or mini cups make servings so much easier- guests can just grab one serving and go. Plus, the beautiful layers make the dessert look elegant with zero effort!
Coffee Or Ice Cream
Cappuccino, latte or my favorite espresso- any form of coffee pairs perfectly with biscoff tiramisu. Add a scoop of vanilla, butterscotch, or caramel ice cream on the side for an extra treat!
Add Toppings
Sprinkle crushed biscoff cookies, caramel drizzle, chocolate shavings, or a dusting of cocoa and cinnamon on top. A dollop of whipped cream also makes for a fantastic finish.
Flavor Variations You Must Try!
Oh, the variations are endless when it comes to biscoff tiramisu. Here are just a few examples of how much this dessert can be customized to fit different occasions:

Pumpkin Spice
Sneak in some of the pumpkin puree and pumpkin spice to your mascarpone filling and enjoy a cozy fall surprise!
Coffee-Infused
For people who can’t get enough of coffee, add espresso powder or a shot of coffee directly into the filling mixture for a coffee infused experience.
Fruits
Add a layer of fruity variation by placing some fresh berries, banana or apple slices between the biscoff cookies and mascarpone filling.
Nuts
For a nutty delight, consider adding chopped almonds, hazelnuts or pistachios as a crunchy topping.
Coconut
You can add coconut to this recipe by using coconut cream in the filling or sprinkling shredded coconut in between layers for a more intense flavor.
Lemon
Add lemon zest or a squeeze of fresh lemon to your mascarpone filling for a bright and refreshing variation.
Mistakes To Avoid When Making Biscoff Tiramisu Recipe
Oh no, the filling is too runny, and the cookies got wet! To avoid mistakes like these from happening, here are some tips:

- Do NOT leave your biscoff cookies in the coffee mixture for more than a few seconds to prevent them from getting soggy.
- Make sure that mascarpone cream cheese and heavy cream are cold enough to have the perfect consistency.
- Be careful not to overwhip the cream, as that will leave you with butter instead of creamy filling!
- After assembling the tiramisu, allow it to chill in the refrigerator at least for 4 hours to set properly.
- To give your tiramisu a proper structure, use a deep baking dish or trifle bowl for serving.
